ECDL PROFIL FIN
Global technology’s evolution towards information, data and documents’ digitization has affected also the financial sector.
These trends cause a permanent professional development and improvement.
In the current context, ECDL FIN Certificate is the effective profile, internationally recognized, for training and certification of specific digital skills in the financial field.
ECDL FIN is recommended by Romanian Banking Institute*, under the authority of Romanian Banking Association and National Bank of Romania and is certified by ECDL ROMANIA.
ECDL FIN Profile was developed in 2 options, by grouping specific ECDL modules, matched with individual working needs from the financial and banking area:
· ECDL FIN STANDARD Profile: Online Essentials, Word processing, Spreadsheets and Presentation.
· ECDL FIN PROFESIONAL Profile: Word processing, Advanced Spreadsheets, Presentation and IT Security.
Online Essentials - This module sets out essential concepts and skills relating to web browsing, effective information search, online communication and e-mail.
Word processing - This module allows candidates to demonstrate the ability to use a word processing application to accomplish everyday tasks associated with creating, formatting and finishing small-sized word processing documents, such as letters and other everyday documents.
Spreadsheets - This module allows candidates to understand the concept of spreadsheets and to demonstrate an ability to use a spreadsheet to produce accurate work outputs.
Presentation - This module allows candidates to understand the concept of presentations and to demonstrate competence in using presentation software.
IT Security - This module sets out concepts relating to the secure use of ICT in daily life and skills used to maintain a secure network connection, use the Internet safely and securely, and manage data and information appropriately.
Advanced Spreadsheets - This module is a high-level certification programme which presents candidates with the opportunity to bring their spreadsheet skills to an expert level. Completion of this module will enable candidates to master the more advanced functions of spreadsheet applications, enabling them to produce more sophisticated reports, and to perform complex mathematical and statistical calculations, thus saving time and improving productivity in the completion of tasks.
ECDL FIN STANDARD and ECDL FIN PROFESIONAL Certificates can be accessed through the ECDL Test Centres from Romania.
At the end of the ECDL FIN training course held by Romanian Banking Institute (RBI), the participants receive a certificate issued by RBI (under the authority of National Bank of Romania and Romanian Banking Association) with 32 grantable credits for continuing professional development (CPDs).

- ECDL Romania continuă colaborarea cu Banca Comercială Română (BCR). Angajaţii BCR vor beneficia de aplicarea unei reduceri de 15% la achiziţionarea prin Contul de candidat ECDL (cu plata online cu cardul) a seriei generale unice de înscriere în programul de certificare ECDL.
